The second in a series of permanent residences and following successful pop-up 'Pig Beach', Pig Bleecker is chef Matt Abdoo’s latest pork-themed project. Del Posts Alumni Matt has created Pig Bleecker by pairing his experiences from behind the barbeque and from his fine-dining past. Smoked meats take a somewhat central focus at Pig Bleecker, with dishes like ‘Smoked-cod fritters with red pepper jelly, 'crispy confit duck thigh and sweet-and-sour glaze’ or ‘Bleecker Burger with Pig Beach Secret Sauce, White American Cheese & Pickles on a Potato Roll.’ The popular ‘Sunday Gravy Eggs in Purgatory with Smoked Ricotta Silatta & Grilled Bread’ also features alongside a variety of starter, side and breakfast options.
The 56 cover comfort-food shrine features a 25-foot ceiling, whitewashed brick walls and rustic communal tables. Seasonal cocktails, as well as a global wine list, are served from the beautiful antique, brass-accented marble bar.
Perfect Oink-ment for a bad day
