Torishin

New York's go-to yakitori bar...

This tightly packed, Michelin rated yakitori bar is both a cultural and dining experience. The three-sided Maplewood bar takes centre stage as three traditional yakitori chefs marinate the chicken using a variety of complicated seasonings from within. For those not familiar with the word, yakitoria is a Japanese skewered chicken dish made from (in this case) organic free-range and market fresh chicken which is chargrilled and paired with a choice of fresh vegetables (flown in daily from Japan). The less appealing parts of the chicken are not left to waste, often supplementing your main in an endless parade of traditional side dishes or appearing on the organ skewers list. The menu boasts 40 yakitori options as well as an extensive Sake list.

Torishin operates a guest age policy of 12 and above.
