This Fast-casual diner is NYC's latest offering from Swiss chef and restaurant Daniel Humm. Made Nice is not something you would expect from the Eleven Madison Park proprietor, nor does if offer a conventional fast food experience.
The menu features only nine or so items such as ‘Salmon rosti with smoked salmon, egg, salad and pickled onions’ or ‘Quinoa falafel with pickled beets, yoghurt, cucumber and salad', all available to eat in or take away and ordered from an employee holding an iPad. Served for the most part in disposable bowls, each dish is intended to be ready within five minutes from ordering and the $11 to $15 price tag easily contrasts that of the hour-long EMP $295 option.
The simple decor features a signature Shepard Fairey mural with grey canvas coated seating and the restaurant hosts 31 covers.
