Taste of London, which occurs twice a year, takes place this summer in the stunning Regent’s Park from 14th-18th June 2017. It is the ultimate celebration of the London food scene where 55,000 food-loving visitors are able to sample food from London’s latest, greatest and most exciting restaurants and chefs. There are also many opportunities to get hands-on with interactive masterclasses, and shop from an array of more than 200 food and drink purveyors.
They are the stars of the show. 38 restaurants concepts will be trading for the visitors: Club Gascon, Les 110 Taillevent, Perilla, Portland, Bao, Kricket, Hong-Kong restaurant Duddells’, Pierre Herme Paris, Little Jose, Senor Ceviche, Duck & Waffle Local, Oldroyd, Jamavar, Dumplings Legend, L’Autre Pied, M, Sartoria, Yosma, Roka, Jamavar, Temper, Vanilla Black, Sagardi, The Cinnamon Club, Ametsa, Balls & Company, Bubbledogs, Ember Yard, Café Spice Namaste, Chai Wu, Aster, Corazon, Olkava, The Manor, Souvlaki, Flat Three, Action Against Hunger. And this year we are creating a new unique stand curated by Instagram star Clerkenwell Boy with influencers Rosie Birkett, Laura Jackson and Melissa Hemsely each cooking a dish.
This year we are launching our own take on the chef’s table – The Taste Residence - where some of the greatest talent in the world will be in residency and cooking for just 24 guests at a time. Alex Atala from Brazil (#16 restaurant in the world), Ana Ros from Slovenia – Best Female chef 2017, Ollie Dabbous Michelin starred chef from London and Mauro Colagreco from France, currently #4 in the world. The residence is curated by ‘god of food’ and star maker Andrea Petrini and hosted by legendary Maitre d’ Paulo de Tarso.
3. The AEG Taste Theatre
Cooking demos are hugely popular at Taste of London, and we are very excited to welcome amazing talent this summer: Alex Atala, Tom Kerridge, Nathan Outlaw, Thomasina Miers, Marcus Samuelson from Red Rooster, Clare Smyth, Ashley Palmer-Watts, Francesco Mazzei, Theo Randall, Dan Doherty and more.
4. Entertainment and Masterclasses
There are lots of complimentary experiences at Taste of London. And we have the most diverse and fun food & drink masterclasses : Laurent-Perrier are launching their new ‘La Cuvee’ Champagne, Natoora are creating their own fire pit, Pilsner Urquell are partnering with The Duck and Rice to explore the flavours of Chinese cuisine, Illy is offering an expresso masterclass by their Illy University of Coffee, and many more …Alongside these experiences will be music at The Taste Band Stand, garden games and VIP treatment for our corporate clients.
5. The Exhibitors / Artisans brands
From British sparkling wines to distilled non-alcoholic spirit, from fresh bread to indulgent cookie dough, from hip food magazine to Japanese knives, … there are more than 200 concepts to shop from. Also this year we are giving smaller innovative brands the opportunity to showcase their talent at the Start-Up Collective and our Small Producers Market will offer many delights from extra virgin olive oil from Greece to premium cheese from North Wales.
