In the ever-more-fashionable Greenpoint, Fish & Lobster is a retail fish market and raw bar, selling and serving seafood and shellfish, in a chic but relaxed environment.

Though it might be slap-bang in the middle of Brooklyn, you could easily be on holiday in Maine. All the ingredients are sustainably sourced, many of them also local, and the menu changes frequently, depending on what produce is fresh and readily available.

There are freshly-shucked oysters, a lobster tank to provide the filling for Maine-style lobster rolls, fish tacos, and a selection of other hot and cold brunch, lunch and dinner options, plus wine and beer on tap too.

Proprietors Adam Geringer-Dunn (a former music booker) and fishmonger Vinny Milburn (a former entertainment lawyer) met while working in the music industry, and their goal at Greenpoint Fish & Lobster is to educate diners on where their food is coming from.
