IchiBuns

Japanese-inspired dining concept with a menu offering up a selection of dishes inspired by Japan’s food capital, Hokkaido.

The vision is to deliver more than just a burger restaurant - with a focus on prime cuts of Wagyu beef and a variety of traditional Japanese dishes to deliver an authentic experience in a modern contemporary Japanese environment. IchiBuns is kitted out in rock-and-roll Tokyo-inspired decor, (across three floors) while on the menu there are pimped-up ramen noodles with Wagyu beef and king crab alongside Asian-inspired burgers and side orders which includes spring rolls with snow crab.

The restaurant has been stylishly designed by Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Tokyo’s Studio Glitt (also behind Roka and Zuma) with interiors which pay homage to the Shōwa era in Japan - complete with authentic memorabilia. Think typical Japanese sunken tables (with views overlooking bustling China Town), and Japanese pachenko machines (referencing the pin ball machines found in American diners).

Leading this roll-out concept are some of the most well-known restaurants in the UK alongside Robin Leigh (Nobu and Busaba Eathai), Kurt Zdesar (Les Bains Douches and Ping Pong) and sushi chef Endo Kazutoshi (Zuma).
