The brand new InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is officially the tallest building west of the Mississippi River.
Occupying the 31st to the 68th floor of the AC Martin-designed 73-story tower, the hotel features 889 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows as well as more than 350,000 square feet of office space.
Its rooftop bar, Spire 73, is the tallest open rooftop bar on the West Coast, with sweeping views of the skyline along with cocktails, a wide selection of whisky and dining. Other food and beverage concepts inside the hotel include steakhouse La Boucherie on the 71st floor, farm-to-fork Dekkadance on the 69th floor, sushi and omakase restaurant Sora, and the lobby lounge on the 70th floor.
