Vida Verde

This Mexican inspired restaurant and cocktail bar in Midtown is the latest venture from the team behind Tanner Smith’s.

Spread over two levels, the 4,000-square-foot venue features two bars and a dining room seating over 100 covers. Inspired by Mexican life, food and culture, Vida Verde features a colorful interior, including works by renowned graffiti artist Victor Marka.

The kitchen is helmed by chef Hugo Orozco, who draws on the flavors of his hometown of Mazatlan along Mexico’s Pacific coast, and showcases fresh, authentic Mexican dishes. There are shrimp flautas, fish skewers and seafood ceviche and don’t miss the “Loaded Guacamole” complete with shrimp and pork rinds.

Cocktails continue in like vein, incorporating fresh ingredients and, of course, plenty of Mezcal.

If U are looking for a place to unwind after a tough day in the office, Vida Verde is the spot for U.
