Place des Vosges is perhaps one of the most beautiful squares in Paris but the bars and restaurants that sorrounded can be rather stuffy, which is one more reason why Le Vieux Comptoir de Cap Horn is such a find.
Enter a sea of Latin American decorations, latino music, pina coladas or cuba libres, and you may be forgiven to think you are no longer in Paris. Indeed on September 18th of every year the bar hosts a joyful celebration for Chile’s national day.

Enjoy the beautiful baroque setting of Place des Vosges as you sip on a 'punch coco', pisco sour or caipirinhas (all at €8). Leave the stuffiness to the tourists and play the local at this happening little place sorrounded by history.
If U are feeling a little peckish order one of the house tapas such as the empanadas (€5) or fried calamari (€8).
And here is the best part, if U arrive between 4pm-8pm you can enjoy happy hour, which boasts in all cocktails at €5. Muy Bien!
