Art Season At Al Serkal Avenue

Here's what to look out for over the next couple of months at Dubai's indie art district!

Kicking things off with the season's first Al Serkal Lates on Wednesday, September 27 (7pm and 8pm) it's a jam-packed calendar of cool artsy stuff. Saturday Tours are also back, with the next one taking place on the 30th.

September also sees the opening of new studio and performing arts space, Sima Performing Arts, which will offer a year-round programme of dance classes and performances; its grand opening is on September 30 too.

Exhibition highlights from some of the leading galleries include 'Good Face and Incurable Flaws' by Amir Khojasteh and Philip Mueller at carbon 12; Group exhibition 'Theatre of the Absurd' at Green Art Gallery; Massoud Arabshahi's 'Early Works from the Azari Collection' at Lawrie Shabibi; and Select video and photography works in collaboration between Art Jameel and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Project Space Art Jameel.

Ongoing community events such as Literaturhaus at Nadi, Road Trips, and Now Playing will continue, keep your eyes peeled here for more updates.
