If U are a night owl in Paris (or as they are called here - Parisians), then U are probably well accustomed with Rue Oberkampf and its array of late night venues, but if U still haven't tried Aux Deux Amis then we recommend U do so.
This hoping bar has everything a late night spot should: hip crowd, great cocktails, friendly ambience, and appetising shareable plates.
We love such dishes as the melting ‘Tortilla de Janine’ made with acorn-fed ham, grilled almonds, and mozzarella, crunchy beetroot with Bismarck vodka, fresh sardines, black pudding purée, and herring. All dishes are perfectly paired with various wines and spirits so do ask your waiter for their recommendation. And the best part, all wines are 100% natural and served by David Vincent-Loyola, formerly of Chateaubriand.
Just be warned finding a table to sit on a Friday night can be close to impossible.
