The Musee Picasso is located in the Marais district of Paris. With over 5,000 works of Picasso occupying the gallery, this collection is the only one in the world to present both Picasso’s complete printed, sculpted, engraved and illustrated work, as well as records, sketches and notebooks of the artists creative process. The museum is also home to Picasso’s own private collection of pieces by Cézanne, Seurat, and Matisse, making it is a must-visit place for those with an interest in art.
As the second largest public park in Paris and one which I grew up very close to, the Jardins du Luxembourg is a beautiful inner-city oasis of terraces, lawns, sculptures and chestnut groves. Here, visitors can relax after a long day exploring the city, play tennis, rent small wooden sailboats or even start beekeeping. This charming attraction really does have something for every member of a family.
