Now in its eighth year, the annual festival is situated in the beautiful tree-lined El Paseo shopping district in Palm Desert, welcoming guests to a weekend of the best food and wine in the Coachella Valley and from across the country.
On March 22nd, the festivities will commence with “An American Kitchen with an Indian Soul” at Toscana Country Club, featuring Aarti Sequeira, executive chef of Toscana Country Club, and cookbook author Eric Wadlund.
On March 23rd the “James Beard Four-Course Gourmet Luncheon” will be hosted by Gail Simmons, showcasing cuisine from the country’s leading chefs. Guests will enjoy dishes from cheese expert and Laura Werlin; chef-restaurateur Richard Blais; chef-restaurateur Author Fabio Viviani; and pastry chef Zac Young.
On March 24 and 25, the festival will also host cooking demonstrations from acclaimed local and national chefs, in addition to the Grand Tasting events, which highlight samples from over 40 restaurants; tastings from more than 60 premium wine, craft beer, and spirit producers; and intimate interactions with chefs and vintners.
