Pear Tree Café in Battersea Park

Pear Tree Café offers a fresh and innovative approach to café-style dining year-round, serving up seasonal dishes in a stylish yet relaxed setting - overlooking the Boating Lake in Battersea Park. Founded by Annabel Partridge - formerly Sous Chef at Petersham Nurseries under Skye Gyngell when it earned its Michelin Star, and Sous Chef at Skye’s Spring Restaurant at Somerset House - and Will Burrett, who worked alongside Annabel at Petersham Nurseries and Spring. Pear Tree Café seats 100 diners inside, with space for 350 diners outside. With thoughtfully sourced ingredients cooked simply and presented beautifully, Pear Tree Café serves breakfast and a seasonal all-day lunch menu until dusk on weekdays, brunch at weekends and pop-up supper clubs on winter evenings. The seasonal all-day (weekly changing) menus offers five specials each day including a meat, fish, vegetarian, salad and soup option, as well as freshly made sandwiches and a children’s menu. Chucs in Hyde Park

Chucs at The Serpentine Sackler Gallery forms part of the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, The Magazine designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid. This, Peter Mikic designed, outpost is by far the largest oupost of Chucs, which also has locations in Mayfair, Westbourne Grove and (more recently) at Harrods. Specialising in flavours of the Italian Riviera, Chucs all-day restaurants evokes the essence of yacht life and the Mediterranean Sea and you can expect their signature, classic dishes as well as dishes exclusive to the this location - including a set lunch menu and children's menus - such as pea and mint risotto with Reggiano and watercress; green harissa lamb rump with mint gel and cucumber and Yellowfin tuna tartare with baby gem lettuce and bigoli pasta cache e pepe. 

The Belvedere in Holland Park

Dating back to 17th century, The Belvedere was once the Summer Ballroom to the Jacobsen mansion that was Holland House. It stands, not only in the middle of London's most beautiful parks, Holland Park, but in one of the capital's most fashionable areas. Offering an oasis tranquillity, The Belvedere restaurant is surrounded by lawns, stunning flower gardens, and a picturesque fountain and comprises of the ground floor, mezzanine and terrace dining rooms, each evoking the original splendour of the building - with views of park life and flowering trees from every table. The atmosphere is one of tranquil fine dining with a menu of modern brasserie cooking with Anglo-French overtones. 

Saone's Kitchen at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery

Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery comprises the Grade I listed house once owned and designed by architect and surveyor Sir John Soane, as his country retreat where he entertained friends and clients, including painter JMW Turner and King Louis Philippe of France. Soane called the surrounding 28 acres of parkland (its historical significance dating back to 1800) - and still there today as Walpole Park his 'pleasure grounds'. Discover Soane’s Kitchen – built in Soane’s original walled kitchen garden, overseen by Social Pantry (opening July, 2018). Expect seasonal dishes that reflect Social Pantry’s signature style with much of the produce grown on-site. The restaurant, designed by architects Jestico + Whiles, comprises a 70-cover dining space with a light and calming feel. Open Monday to Saturday 8am-10pm and for brunch on Sundays. 

Tangerine Dream Café at Chelsea Physic Garden

Tucked away beside the Thames, Chelsea Physic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in London and houses around 5,000 different medicinal, herbal, edible, and useful plants. The Tangerine Dream Café is set next to a 17th-century red-brick house and covered in climbing roses - and offers fresh home made food, using high-quality, seasonal ingredients - think dishes such as a sun-dried tomato, goat cheese and Gruyère tart with arugula and roasted cherry tomatoes, as well as lavender scones with clotted cream and housemade seasonal jam. This hidden gem is also a charming quintessentially British oasis.
