At tis new fast-casual Italian spot in Gramercy Park North, Rock n' Roll meets truly artisanal pizza and fresh pastas.

Brought to U by Atomic Hospitality Group - the company behind The Bedford - and in partnership with HPH Hospitality - which also runs Harry’s and Dead Rabbit - Macchina serves contemporary Italian food with a New York spin and a focus on pizza and pasta.

Signure dishes include thinge like garlic knots with everything-bagel seasoning; avocado bruschetta and black-and-white pasta. In addition, the menu has a good selection of artisan pizzas, with toppings such as Brussels sprouts and smoked bacon, figs and fennel or burrata. 

The interior is rustic in design featuring tables and a small bar area. At the back of the restaurant is an open wine cellar with Italian wines from Tuscany, Veneto and Piedmont, while barman Jason Madera serves house cocktails. 

 

Signature Dishes

Tuscan Kale Caesar Salad with grana padano, black peppered croutons; duck bolognese or spaguetti and clams; pizza such as foraged and farmed mushrooms; and meats from the grill like brick chicken with sunchoke puree, wilted greens and natural jus.

Amuro Cappucino made with rosemary grappa and basil leaves; Macchina Martini with Belvedere vodka with oven-roasted herbs; and Saffron Vesper with Plymouth Gin and fresh saffron.
