Le Perchoir Gare de l’Est is the third rooftop installation in Paris from the people behind Le Perchoir at Ménilmontant and Marais BHV. Perched on top of the beautiful 19th Century classical structure of Gare de l’Est, between the building’s two symmetrical pavilions, comes a neo-industrial rooftop terrace that was inspired by Fernob furniture from the Luxembourg gardens.
We love the wooden seats and metal accents, cream parasols, large wooden communal tables, vegetable separations and the large canopy above the bar that both offers a repose from the sun and also adds a form of isolation to the venue.
The atmosphere is chilled and holiday style, with great panoramic views of the city, light snacks, well-prepared cocktails and electro-pop DJ sets playing day and night.
For your meal, expect gourmet kebabs, fresh seasonal salads and finger food accompanied by a crisp chilled beer or rose, or the house’s speciality cocktail, La Mimosa spritz.
Whether U are about to take the train to an exciting destination and want to start that holiday feel early, or simply need an afternoon escape, Le Perchoir at Gare de l’Est is definitely worth the visit.
