Taco Electrico is splashed with neon and offering a drink-friendly Mexican menu by chef Fernando Navas, who prepares small plates, snacks and the signature tacos.
The colorful interio has been designed in collaboration with Fun Peoplefeaturing bursts of pink, blue and orange, with a geometric DJ booth will no doubt underline the party atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating, including an alcove with hanging swings, as well as high-top tables and banquettes.
Chef Navas shops for his produce at the nearby Union Square’s Greenmarket. The menu offers antjitos (small plates); tacos; and postres (desserts), including churros, served with burned sweet milk and chocolate.
With a focus Mexican spirits and flavors, drinks include a range of tequila and mescal as well as cocktails including three different types of Margaritas.

Mexican: sweet corn fritters with tajin, cotija cheese, chipotle mayo and lime; pork belly tacos with pickled red onion; and cauliflower tacos with turmeric tahini.
