The answer? One trendy incredible New York style bar. We love high ceilings, beautiful black and white striped Art Deco style marble bar, tattoo artist SupaKitch signature touches on the wall, green velvet armchairs, and the eighties soundtrack that play throughout the night.
The bartenders here hail from New York’s renowned Mace and Paris's now world famous Experimental Cocktail Club, so U can expect your drinks to be first-rate (as indeed they are)! The cocktail flavours are surprising and imaginative ranging from matcha to marshmallow to bacon to hazelnut butter.
Do try the popular 'St Germain des Près' a combination of elderflower and cucumber, amped up with pepper heat, then smoothed with egg white or 'La Myrtille' ('The Blueberry')a pimped out kir royale, made with Pierre Ferrand cognac, hazelnut butter and infused with tonka beans, verjus and blueberry.
We recommend U do it right and make it a one stop shop with dinner at Daroco for some mouthwatering Italian style pizzas, then continue the evening at this charming and still well-kept secret bar.
Just be warned, Danico doesn't accept reservation and in fact doesn't even have a number or a website - so early bird gets the cocktail and the table.
Date night, drinks with friends.
