Mixing a retro-looking setting (all new though!) and classic cocktail preparations, the 70-seat Normandie Club comes from the nightlife pros at 213 Hospitality and the cocktail masterminds of Proprietors LLC. The street front bar is somewhat minimalist in design. Eye-catching details include the whitewashed brick walls, wood-topped stools and a mounted 12-bottle rack of spirits for quick shot pours. But it’s the mixed drinks that are the attraction; look for the Sour, Collins, Manhattan and Old-Fashioned plus two cocktails on tap.
Located in the heart of Koreatown, and around the corner from the uber-popular Line Hotel, the Normandie Club is set in the recently renovated 1926-built Hotel Normandie. Open nightly, bar culture is entering a new era in the neighborhoud known for its coffee clubs, Korean restaurants and timeless bars like the Bounty.
