Aptly named the ambassadors, the crowd here is chic, renowned, and basically nightlife cool. Fashionable Parisians cram in during the night to sip on first rate cocktails and enjoy live music performances and DJ sets. Indeed, Mike D from the Beastie Boys recently spun a late-night DJ set, which brought the crowd to their feet.
We love the new and modern decor, which features some of the original touches like marble walls, fresco painted ceilings, gilded moldings, the pane-glass windows, as well as new modern fixtures compliments of interior designer Chahan Minassian. The old fashioned chandeliers have been given a rock 'n roll vibe through hung chains and low-lighting.
While the bar staff seems to be chaneling their best Tom Cruise immitation as they spin bottles and perform bartender tricks with an ease and style that seems camera ready.
As for the cocktail list well - it speaks for itself. The cocktail menu was created by none other than winner of the 'Meilleur Ouvrier de France' Christophe Davoine. Do try the house signature drink 'Les Marquise', made with rose and raspberry cordial, bitter rhubarbe and champagne, and topped with a feather. How chic.
