Frankie Goes to Bollywood

A new Indian fast-casual restaurant has opened in Soho bringing a taste of Bombay's street food to New York.

Frankie Goes to Bollywood offers a menu comprising grilled Indian flatbreads. Chef Yasir Chaudhry has given the Indian wrap a New York touch, with healthy takes on Indian classics. Much of the menu is vegetarian-friendly, including the Awesome Aloo (cauliflower-potato hash, fried chickpeas, and tamarind chutney); Bangin’ Bharta (eggplant curry, zucchini spirals, cucumber raita); and Positively Palak (creamed spinach curry, cottage cheese, mango pickle). For dessert, look no further than the Bombay Beignets, dusted with cardamom sugar and packed with spiced rice pudding.

The restaurant space is fitted with a neon sign, colorful artwork and, of course, a retro boom box playing Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
