Spread across two stories, Fava Bistro features white washed walls with blue accents, transporting U straight to the Greek islands.
While the menu offers hints of Italy, North Africa and Spain, the flavors of Greece, including garlicky tzatziki, saganaki and feta, dominate. Other highlights include saganaki (pan-seared halloumi cheese drizzled in honey), calamari with lemon aioli, mains such as scallops or branzino as well as a “smash” burger and chargrilled hanger steak.
Fava Bistro puts a Mediterranean twist on classic cocktails, including a Baklava Old Fashioned that is made with honey liqueur and walnut bitters, as well as a Med Martini with olive oil-infused vodka and lemon, and a fig-infused Manhattan.
This new spot in the West Village provides the perfect summery escape to the Med during the cold winter months in New York City.
