A disciple of Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele is known as one of the greats of the impressionist movement, as well as the painter of Klimt's famous death bed potrait.
And now, Fondation Louis Vuitton is honoring this great 19th century Austrian painter and poet, through a collection of 120 of his works, drawings, gouaches, and paintings scattered throughout the beautiful modern 600 sqm space. Part of the exhibit are also Schiele's renowned Self-portrait with a Chinese Lantern (1912), Standing Nude with Blue Sheet (1914), Seated Male Nude (1910), Self-portrait (1912).
