Devoción

Colombian coffee roaster and café, Devoción, opens its first Manhattan cafe in the Flatiron District.

Devoción, which has been wooing Brooklyn coffee devotees with farm-to-table Colombian coffee since 2014, is now serving its award-winning, sustainably-sourced brews in Manhattan.

The company sources its beans directly from Colombian farmers and roasts them as soon as ten days later (unlike the industry average of 6-12 months) to bring U the freshest cup possible. All Ur essential coffee needs are met here, with the menu offering anything from espressos to macchiatos, drip coffees, pour overs and cold brew. If coffee isn’t Ur thing, try the sparkling casara on tap, which is made from the pulp of coffee cherries, or the aromaticas, which are fresh fruit and herbal tea infusions.

While Devoción is first and foremost a destination for coffee, food items include freshly made croissants, scones, banana bread and savory snacks such as arepas.

The airy space features a skylight as well as a garden created by plantwalldesign atop the cafe’s chandelier, which serves as a reflection of the jungles of Columbia.
