This cozy café-bar and lounge lies on the Promenade of Gstaad, and was founded by brothers Murat and Ahmet Bicik. "A brand new lounge bar with a DJ and live music every Wednesday during the winter season. Very cozy place, ideal for a stop after skiing. Here you can find a nice selection of cocktails, tapas and lovely soups. Don’t forget to ask for the Beer menu!"
A cosy Italian bistro, inspired by the mountains around them, the chef and his team have created a menu fit for Gstaad. "Traditional Italian bar located right in the middle of our pedestrian road “La Promenade”. Very popular in town, you can taste nice snacks and pizza such as the “Pizza Rialto” or for people who love a challenge they offer a Nutella chocolate pizza."
Housed in a traditional and historic chalet, Cappuccino enjoys an ideal position in the heart of Gstaad close to the fashion boutiques. "This summer the famous Spanish brand opened a restaurant-cocktail bar in town. Right in front of Rialto, Cappuccino is a modern bar where you can taste very nice cocktails such as Mojito de Palo or Japanese Caipirinha. And if after skiing you need to recover some calories we recommend the Banofee cake."
A local bakery, confectionary and chocolate shop with an extensive range of Gstaad specialities on offer, including Saane Gibeni, Gstaad nut cake and Pavés de Gstaad. "A traditional tearoom open since five generations. Very cosy ambiance, you can taste their homemade chocolates, pastries or sandwiches, while you are sipping their fabulous homemade hot chocolate. Very central location in the Promenade, facing the Gstaad train station."
Saanenland’s first juice bar! "This innovative juice bar is the brainchild of local wellness enthusiast Blanca Brillembourg and marketing guru Diana D’Hendecourt, who offer you à la carte recipes and design bespoke smoothies, mixing the right enzymes and vitamins to meet your specific needs. Here you can find signature juices, smoothies made with fresh hemp/rice/almond milk, and power shots like wheat grass, lemon ginger, goji powder, tahini and collagen. All ingredients are organic and farm-grown in Switzerland, including the kale and wheatgrass that are grown locally in the Saanenland. If you wish to regain the energy spent on a day skiing, this is the place to visit!"
Stefano Guazzini has been working at the Gstaad Palace for 15 years. He is originally from Lago Maggiore and loves the Gstaad region, as he enjoys living near the mountains as well as meeting the international community which flocks to Gstaad each season.
