A temporary pop-up hotel made up of snow and sculpted blocks of ice.
The Igloo Village is located near the mountain station of the cable car Saanerslochgrat, above Saanenmöser, about 2000 meters above sea level. The hotel is made entirely out of snow (3,000 tonnes of it) and re-built every winter - with international artists decorating the interior spaces with snow and ice art. There are family and romantic accommodation options for overnight lodging (equipped with specialist sleeping bags) and igloos kitted out with saunas and open-air whirlpools and igloos available for mulled wine and fondue.
