Steinbeisser Experimental Gastronomy NYC

This May, Steinbeisser is partnering with the James Beard Foundation to bring renowned chefs Dominique Crenn, Elise Kornack, Emma Bengtsson and Niki Nakayama together for the New York City premiere of Experimental Gastronomy.

Held at 99 Scott in Brooklyn, the four leading chefs will create a nine-course vegan tasting menu with ingredients sourced from organic and biodynamic producers found in NY and the surrounding states. The menu will be created in collaboration with fifteen artists who will craft custom cutlery and tableware especially for the occasion. Experimental Gastronomy is a unique immersive experience that brings together acclaimed chefs and artists to create an exciting and radically different way of enjoying food. A portion of the proceeds from the dinners will support the James Beard Foundation Women’s Leadership Programs.

Located at the intersection of East Williamsburg and Bushwick, 99 Scott Studio is a light filled fully renovated industrial space featuring 20 foot high ceilings and more than 18,000 square feet of design.

The nine-course tasting menu including alcoholic or non-alcoholic pairings will be priced $875. Book now for Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th at 6:30pm.

Steinbeisser launched its Experimental Gastronomy initiative, which is based in Amsterdam and active around the world, in 2012. It brings together renowned chefs and artists for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
