The Eagle Club

Founded in 1957, The Eagle is a private members’ ski club and restaurant located in a sprawling chalet on the top of a private mountain, Wasserngrat in Gstaad.

A chic and exclusive luncheon club, similar to the Corviglia Club in St. Moritz, has long been one of the smartest members-only clubs in the Alps. Gaining access to the '"the St Tropez of the mountains" is not a simple affair (there's also a three year waiting list) with club membership costing £25,000  - yet the idea of lunching on the mountaintop remains irresistible to the Gstaad elite. Once inside, expect a traditional menu of Swiss fondue and pasta dishes.
