This is a bustling downtown spot – not the place for a quiet dinner, but fantastic for a fun night out. There are communal tables, as well as more traditional tables for two, four or a group and it's a great spot for a celebration. Foodies will want to snag a spot close to the open kitchen to catch a glimpse of Hung Huynh, executive chef and winner of television’s Top Chef, who is also a partner in Catch.
The food can be as communal as the tables too, with oceans of raw shellfish and enormous dishes such as the oversize Cantonese-style lobster and the 1.5lb Alaskan King Crab. There are also deeply indulgent dishes, such as the truffle snapper with lobster mashed potato.
On the fourth floor, above the restaurant, there is now also Catch Roof, an al fresco dining and cocktail spot, atmospherically lit and open late.
