Rubino

A hidden treasure in Malta’s capital serving refined versions of many traditional dishes.

Established in 1906 and to this day still retains the original antique façade. Spread over three floors, the charming interconnecting dining rooms (with white tablecloths and walls decorated with wine bottles) provides a unique setting to enjoy seasonal and daily changing Maltese and Mediterrean dishes, such as spaghetti with sea urchins and sea-bass involtini stuffed with pine nuts and mint. Leave room for dessert – the house speciality is cassata siciliana - sponge cake soaked in liqueur, layered with ricotta cheese.
