Sushi Nakazawa

Daisuke Nakazawa's omakase is worth the wait.

This is sushi of the highest order. The precise attention to detail is astounding, from the exact temperature control of each specific type of fish to the way Daisuke Nakazawa will lay down your chopsticks depending on whether you're left or right handed. Suffice to say, the tasting menu at Sushi Nakazawa is amongst the best in town.

The protege of renowned Jiro Ono, Daisuke Nakazawa featured in the 2011 documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi as Ono's young, fearful apprentice. Well, he has certainly come into his own. These days, expect to wait months for a place at his 10-seat bar.
