Six Senses London

The barefoot-luxury, wellness-focused resort group are planning an urban resort in London.

Six Senses was established in 1995 and now the Bangkok-based company manages hotels and resorts across 12 countries in some of the most sought-after destinations globally, from the Maldives and the Seychelles to Yao Noi in Thailand and Zighy Bay in Oman. Known for their far-flung locations of incredible natural beauty and for their distinctive and diverse design (think a mix of bohemian chic and laid back indulgences) as well as their expert commitment to well-being combined with ethical responsibility.

The urban concept premiered in Singapore (pictured) - with boutique hotels in the heart of Chinatown and also New York, in the hip Chelsea neighbourhood, inbetween the High Line and the Hudson river. The London outpost is rumoured to be housed in Whiteleys - the landmark Grade II listed building, which is currently being renovated. The hotel is comprised of 110 guest rooms and suites and a Six Senses Spa - “reminiscent of an old-fashioned London underground station”  a lobby bar and lounge, and an all-day dining restaurant with an open kitchen.
