Luciana Berry at Mortimer House

Mortimer House continues its exciting run of kitchen residencies, this time welcoming acclaimed Brazilian chef Luciana Berry.

Combining modern and classic cooking techniques, Luciana's food showcases the exotic flavours and ingredients which are integral to Brazilian cuisine, a passion which wowed judges in the 2014 MasterChef Professionals, where she reached the semi-final. 

An advocate for Brazilian food in the UK, Salvador-born Luciana trained at Le Cordon Bleu and has run her own catering business over the past 12 years. Luciana is serving a six-course menu (£48 per person) showcasing the bold flavours, techniques and heritage of Brazilian cooking. 

By reservation only, across Thurday, Friday and Saturday nights, and takes place on the Living Room & Den upstairs at Mortimer House; nestled within the original Art Deco building on the fifth floor.

Salt cod with tapioca; cured beef with cassava mousseline; Brazilian fish stew served with steamed black-eye bean parcels, smoked prawns and bread porridge and coconut mousse with Brazilian palmer mango.
