The dining extravaganza at Lexus’s location in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, complete with a café, restaurant and event space, is managed by restaurateur Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events.
The concept features a new, internationally renowned chef every four to six months, who takes over the menu. After the inaugural chef-in-residency, Gregory Marchand, Spanish chef Barroso in is town to launch a version of his acclaimed tasting menu from his restaurant 040 in Santiago, Chile.
An El Bulli disciple, Barroso is part of a new wave of chefs in Chile who take inspiration from around the world while mining the country's own rich culinary history. He serves up a succession of inventive, technically accomplished dishes that are strongly influenced by molecular gastronomy.
The 12-course menu is $115.
