Rosewood London has re-launched its terrace for the summer. The new look terrace is inspired by summers in Scotland and themed around a luxury riverside boathouse. Taking inspiration from the banks of the River Spey and The Macallan Estate, the terrace itself is surrounded by luscious grass, soft wildflowers, and delicate Scottish heathers, while the entrance is flanked with willow trees creating a natural canopy as guests arrive.
Inside, fishing nets and foliage weave throughout the space, with a flower draped ceiling - creating an easy-going atmosphere, transporting guests to the Scottish riverside. Dine on seasonal dishes such as griddled prawns and lamb rump washed down with a selection of Macallan whisky cocktails.
Open daily, from 4pm.
Griddled prawns with lemon & garlic butter; lamb rump with Jersey royal potatoes, spring vegetables and Paris-Brest with salted caramel & praline.
Above the River with Macallan 12, Cocoa, star anise, Fever Tree aromatic tonic water and Fields of Gold with Macallan 12, Lillet & pineapple shrub.
The terrace also serves two gastronomic delights inspired by The Macallan’s partnership with the globally renowned chefs - the Roca brothers - such as a Scottish scallop dish served in a malt broth, with shaved fennel, roasted artichoke puree and turnip and also a tasting of candied nuts infused with unique tasting notes. Served alongside a single cask whisky. Each pairing is priced at £100 and £90 respectively.
