Filipino Garage Party comes to the Rooftop at The Standard in Downtown L.A. for the ultimate potluck-style celebration of Filipino food and culture.
Inspired by the “garage parties” Angela Dimayuga, Creative Director of Food and Culture at Standard International, hosted with her family in the 1990s, this party boasts some of the best Filipino chefs serving up all kinds of delicious plates.
Participating chefs include Russell Victorioso (Cafe Birdie), Chad Valencia (Lasa), Tom Cunanan (Bad Saint) and JP Anglo (Sarsa). Aside from munchies, there will be mahjongg games, performances and throwback music. The party takes place from noon to 4pm on Saturday May 18. Tickets are $35.
