The special dinner (taking place on 17 June, 7pm) celebrates two incredible female chefs - is being held at Monica’s Charlotte Street restaurant Mere. Having spent many years working together at Le Gavroche, the five course tasting menu is very much a collaborative affair - paired with five exquisite wines. Tickets are £175 for the five course tasting menu with paired wines, and includes canapes and a glass of Champagne.
Salad of crispy soft shell crab with heritage tomatoes and white balsamic,‘Mushroom and Marmite’ - a dish of Anglotti, confit chicken, mushrooms and parsley puree; rack of lamb with saffron grelot onions, potato terrine and broad beans and coconut dacquoise with passionfruit mousse, coconut ice-cream and a lime meringue gel.
There is also the option to dine in Mere’s private dining room where you can watch the chefs in action via TV screens linked directly to the kitchen, available for parties of 6-10 people.
