Vida Meva

Modern city lunch spot with exciting menu.

Eyebrows were raised when Toni Martorell, formerly of the formidable Michelin-starred Marc Fosh empire, opened this astoundingly good value set-lunch bistro with his wife. Now firmly established as the go-to for for exciting dishes in a contemporary and affordbalew setting, it’s packed out daily with tourists and locals alike – particularly workers from the nearby parliament building. The three-course set menu (around £12) might include bettroot gnocchi with Mahon cheese, green apple and nuts, or pork rib with peaches and sauerkraut. Two courses are around £10.
