Founded in San Francisco, Wise Sons pairs classic Jewish recipes with the best Californian ingredients to make delicious deli fare and now they're heading to LA.
In 2010 two friends sought to fill the void in San Francisco, which was without any notable Jewish restaurants and have since redefined the classic Jewish deli - with branches throughout the City. Known for sticking to traditional recipes, but using local ingredients and making meats in-house, this deli will have you coming back for more matzah in no time. They take great pride in making just about everything in-house, from the double-baked rye bread to the smoked pastrami. Expect the West LA outpost (replacing Lenny’s Deli) to follow suit.
