In 2010 two friends sought to fill the void in San Francisco, which was without any notable Jewish restaurants and have since redefined the classic Jewish deli - with branches throughout the City. Known for sticking to traditional recipes, but using local ingredients and making meats in-house, this deli will have you coming back for more matzah in no time. They take great pride in making just about everything in-house, from the double-baked rye bread to the smoked pastrami. Expect the West LA outpost (replacing Lenny’s Deli) to follow suit.
