Blazing sunsets, candlelit tables, Michelin-star cuisine… what else could you need for a romantic evening out with your loved one. Le Monzù is one of Capri’s most charming restaurants, with a stunning ocean-front setting and a delectable of reimagined Caprese and Neopolitan dishes to treat all the senses.
The kitchen is headed up by Capri-born Chef Luigi Lionetti, who balances nature and style through clean flavours, local ingredients and immaculately-presented dishes – think pasta with blue lobster and sliced red tuna with citrus fruit sauce and maritata endive.
Inspiration for the name (Monzù means French ‘Monsieur’) comes from Neopolitan aristocratic families of the 13th to 19th century – and one can only imagine the lords and ladies of times past dining so gracefully on the terraces at the modern-day Le Monzù.
