Loyal Tavern

Expect a seasonal produce-led menu in a relaxed neighbourhood environment that was previously Bermondsey institution, Village East.

A venture from Tom Cenci (former executive chef at Duck & Waffle) and Adam White (Riding House Café). Tom has created a menu that celebrates the best seasonal British produce with dishes including Cornish mackerel with apple, pine nut and truffle; venison tartare with beef dripping; and daily specials like gurnard with crab bisque, carrot and seaweed. 

Antonio Del Monte (previously of The Ned) is heading up the bar, which stocks natural, new world and British wines, including wine flights; a range of beers; and punch bowls on the cocktail list. The former textile factory's beautiful interiors have been given a tavern makeover with 100 covers, two bars and a private dining room.
