Mingles x Ikoyi

Kang Mingoo of Korean contemporary restaurant Mingles is heading to London to cook with Michelin star-winning Jeremy Chan at Ikoyi.

The hip, contemporary restaurant in Seoul's buzzy Cheongdam-dong district lives up to its name by 'mingling' Korean and European influences to create his 'new Asian cuisine'. Kang trained under Martin Berasategui in San Sebastian, but it was stints at Nobu in Miami and the Bahamas that arguably had the biggest impact. The menu, available for lunch or dinner - at Ikoyi (pictured) on November 17, is a blind tasting of 10 servings for £150. An optional beverage pairing is also available for £80.
