The majestic 2,500 acre-estate (once the home of Sir Paul Getty) in the Chiltern Hills comprises of farmland, a deer park, a replica of The Oval cricket ground and an 18th-century manor house and Island Pavilion to showcase the Getty-family-owned art collection (of Gainsboroughs, Rossettis, and all the biggest names in contemporary art – Ed Ruscha, Jeff Koons and Banksy) and is also home to Garsington Opera.
Members have access to all these sporting and cultural facilities, and two houses of accommodation - including the five-bedroom, 18th century Home Farm House and the four-bedroom Garden Cottage (which features an indoor swimming pool). The sporting space – including the estate’s cricket ground (described as the most beautiful in England)‒ has been developed by international cricketers Tim Munton and Matthew Hoggard and members have the chance to play with former international cricketers in six-a-side matches.
