In a mansion meant to hark back to the days when the writer Pushkin stolled the 19th-century avenues of Moscow, the extraordinary-designed reincarnation (opened in 1999) of a Russian nobleman's house has since become one of Moscow's favourite elite haunts and a staple of eating out and referred to as the "tsarina of haute-russe dining".
Taking place for one-day-only, the brunch marks the end of Maslenitsa, a Russian festival which celebrates the end of winter and the beginning of Lent. Expect The Garden to be transformed with colourful Russian decorations, roaming entertainment - with Russian balalaika players and dancers, and a traditional menu created by Café Pushkin - featuring their signature staples and delicacies and washed down with Russian-themed cocktails plus plenty of shots of vodka. Priced at £150 per person - members and guests only.
