Fitzdares, the premium bookmaker, have created a 50’s Drive-in look and feel to enjoy the 240th running of the Epsom Derby.
The Epsom Derby is being held ‘behind closed doors’ this year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Loyal racegoers, however will be able to recreate their own Derby Day picnic in a safe environment - in a secret green space in West London with the world’s first ‘drive-in Derby’.Watch all the action on a giant screen with live commentary transmitted to car radios.
Each car of five family members will be contained in their own ‘bubble’ and given an allocated space on the grass with plenty of room for car and picnic. Although drinks and food are available on site, guests are encouraged to pack picnics, as they would for the Derby, and dress up in their finest Derby Day outfits. Each car is priced at £100, with a maximum of five people per car.
