Joy by Stevie Parle

This November, designer Tom Dixon OBE and restaurateur and chef, Stevie Parle, bring their restaurant pop-up Joy into Sotheby's New Bond Street galleries.

Nestled within the Modern British and Irish art exhibition, the site-specific 'hub of food, flowers & happiness' designed by Dixon to celebrate Sotheby's Modern British Art Week - with artworks on show by the giants of modern British art, from Henry Moore to Howard Hodgkin and Bridget Riley.

The five-day dining experience from 18-22 November, serves a daily menu of breakfast, lunch and supper clubs - bringing together the very best of British culture in an unique artistic and culinary experience. Staying true to Joy’s ethos, the dishes comprise ultra-seasonal and rarely found ingredients to create dishes such as smoked eel, beetroot and horseradish and risotto bianco with 5g white truffles.

Styled by Tom Dixon, the immersive restaurant features the designer’s unique pieces, including 100% recyclable chairs and tables made of a rare, oriental marble named Primavera and plenty of luscious, rare specimen plants and sought-after vintage Willy Guhl planters.
