AngloThai marries traditional Thai recipes and flavours with modern techniques and seasonal British ingredients, paired with a low‐intervention natural wine program delivered by husband and wife team ‐ John Chantarasak (twice shortlisted YBF ‘Chef of the Year) and Desiree West. Currently serving food every Friday and Saturday throughout July and August at a summer residency at Newcomer Wines in Dalston - they have a limited alfresco tables at the bar and garden to enjoy AngloThai’s Thai BBQ.
Following on from a similar collaboration series at The Dairy, they're also hosting their AngloThai with Friends series with an impressive line-up of chef collaborations, including: Cornerstone's Tom Brown, Lee Westcott and James Cochran of 12:51. Each chef will team up for a unique five-course menu (from £50) serving up their own cooking style with AngloThai flavours, ingredients and ethos. Alongside the menu will be an Austrian-focused natural wines list from the Newcomer Wines selection.
