Based in the old Monty’s Deli on Hoxton Street, chefs Eddy Tejada, formerly of St John and Silo, and Matthew Scott, from Cub, have established Hot 4 U - a delivery offering focuses on “sustainability and high-grade produce” and draws on St John’s nose-to-tail approach, and span countries around the world, from Japan to Peru.
This latest four-night pop-up (they've also hosted residencies at Marylebone’s Carousel and Top Cuvee) is taking place - this September - at Notting Hill's Laylow. Tickets cost £75 per person and include six courses and a welcome drink.
Irreverent dining
Grilled pancakes; popcorn sweetbreads; tomato kebabs with fermented cep and buttermilk garum and fried apple pie with Szechuan ice cream for dessert.
