Alexia Duchêne at Allard

Datsha's Kitchens's Alexia Duchêne, a former "Top Chef" semi-finalist, has taken over the kitchens at the Parisian institution.

Located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this chic Parisian restaurant - owned by Alain Ducasse - remains one of the last authentic temples to classic French cuisine. The former "Top Chef" semi-finalist - where she met Ducasse - will leave her mark on this historic Parisian bistro - founded in 1932, as she takes over the stoves until December.

Duchêne who notably worked at Fera at Claridge's and Frenchie Covent Garden, both in London - opened her first restaurant, Datsha, at only 24 years old. Expect a more modern style of bistro cuisine drawing influences from nature and bistronomy dining. Dine on dishes such as pissaladière with sweet onion from Cévènnes, foie gras fried with buckwheat, figs and tomato condiment and an update on the house signature duck with olives, revisited as a pithiviers.

Closed on Mondays.
