After a successful run on MasterChef: The Professionals 2020, Santosh Shah, former Head Chef of Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon City Kitchen, is taking to the pass once again for a limited edition modern Nepalese pop-up series, running from 20th September to the 20th of October. The fifteen-course tasting menu, inspired by the food and heritage of Santosh’s birth town in Nepal, run every Wednesday to Sunday weekly, with 15 guests per sitting.
The menu (priced at £75 per person) features innovative dishes of chicken momo – authentic steamed Nepalese dumplings transformed with added pickled cucumber and caviar – and traditionally-rooted dishes of market-style fried fish with burnt tomato chutney, and cannon of lamb with akoru rice, bone marrow sauce and mustard greens.
